enitial awarded prestigious contract with Welsh Assembly Government
enitial is proud to announce being awarded a significant long term contract by the Welsh Assembly Government in South Wales.
The contract relates to technical consultancy and facilities management for Plymouth Park, near Penarth, Cardiff.
The contract requires 24 hr site management, regulation of environmental control systems (including emergency responsiveness), all technical and procurement services, environmental monitoring and reporting and landscape management.
The environmental control infrastructure on site includes a leachate treatment system and storage lagoon, active landfill gas extraction systems and automated borehole monitoring systems.
The Penarth Haven Landfill Site, now known as Plymouth Park, forms part of the land area transfered to the Welsh Assembly Government from the Welsh Development Agency. The land is now used as public space adjacent to the esteemed Cardiff marina facilities.
