BiOWiSH successfully treats landfill leachate
Following on from its distributorship status award in 2009, enitial is pleased to announce that it has successfully treated landfill leachate using microbial product BiOWiSH.
BiOWiSH was used to biologically pre-treat strong leachate at a landfill site in West Sussex. Within just four days its enzymes had reduced ammonia concentrations by 75%, which significantly improved the leachate quality. This allowed the site's conventional biological reactor to easily process the leachate and discharge it to sewer.
